Cristina Sandu is originally from Romania and grew up in Toronto, Canada. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in adult gerontology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Southwestern State College. She earned her nurse practitioner degree from Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated with highest honors. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Nova.
Before joining Prime MD of Naples, she worked in the critical care unit at Physician Regional in Naples. She has also been working as an adjunct faculty at Florida Southwestern State College for the past five years, where she enjoys teaching nursing students.

Cristina enjoys living in southwest Florida. She loves spending time with her husband, their son, and their greyhounds. Hobbies include spinning classes, yoga, and boating.
