Dr. Andre Nye moved from England in 1976 where he finished High School, to Massachusetts. He later majored in Chemistry at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. After this, he started his own business creating museum reproductions for institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. He sold his business to embark on a career in medicine in the 1990s.
He attended Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and after graduating he completed his Family Medicine residency training at the Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Moving to Moses Lake, Washington he spent twelve years caring for his community and delivering hundreds of children. In Spokane, he completed a fellowship in high-risk obstetrics. He was the medical director at the Community Health Center, where he worked and also served as Chief of Staff at the Community Hospital.
Needing a professional change he moved to the Oregon Coast where he trained residents and also worked as a Hospitalist, an Emergency Department physician, and continued an office-based practice.
Due to family needs, he moved to Florida and worked for Lee Health in Family Medicine and continued to care for expectant mothers and children.
With his wife, Andre Nye created Prime MD of Naples, a private clinic in Naples, Florida where he uses his experience and leadership to create the best in patient-centered services.
